A low signal level from a cartridge requires a special approach to the design of turntable cables. Quartz Reference as a conductor uses wires that are almost identical to the cabling of a turntable arm, which creates a synergy of transmitted signals. The cable consists of eight helical twisted wires; each wire is made of 18 OFC microconductors.

The active screening is not connected to the plugs but is lead out as a separate GND earth. The cable is equipped with a DFSS filter that protects against external interference.

The Best Audiophile Cables You’ve Probably Never Heard Of


We first came across Audiomica from a review in 6Moons. The review really impressed us so we asked for some samples and they truly surprised us in their performance. In fact they sounded better than anything else we had ever heard and they rest is history. These cables really allowed our reference system to shine. No sweetening or smoothing off the higher frequencies, no artificial bass lift, all the leading edges in the right place at the right time, truly excellent stuff. Then the biggest surprise came when we found out the price, Audiomica’s top of the line cables were less expensive than our previous reference cables.

In addition to the many good cable companies, the HiFi cable and interconnect industry is full of performance claims and counter claims, hype, clever marketing and some would say smoke and mirrors. What struck us about the Audiomica cables is that they are plain musical and you forget about the equipment and want to just listen to music.

I had an interesting listening session this weekend with a new speaker cable (new to me anyway), namely Audiomica from Poland.

First I heard the entry level red cable, (£600ish for a 2.5m pair) versus a pair of MIT cables at £5,500 and as good as the MIT was and to be fair it was very good, I'm afraid the Audiomica, just added more tunefulness more rhythm and was a more enjoyable and involving experience.

Next there was a dem on the top of the range silver cable, I was really happy with what I had heard with the red cable, that was in my price range, so I didn't really want to hear the silver cable as it is to me, expensive (£1,800-2,000 ish/ 2.5m length).
However I listened and to be fair it was better than the red one on the system we were listening to, more open and delicate.

So there you go, an interesting afternoon.

קצת ברשותכם על הכבלים:
הכבלים של AUDIOMICA מאוד מאוזנים.
כאשר חיברנו את כבלי AUDIOMICA במערכת ה-Reference אצלנו בהאזנה ראשונה ישר שמנו לב למיקרו דינמיקה.
צלילים שהתחבאו ברקע,נשמעו יותר ברורים.
עוד דבר, אפשרות השמיעה של התדר התחתון גם בווליום נמוך במיוחד.
כמו כן, השקט השחור (מוחלט).

אני לא צריך לציין את כל הפרמטרים האחרים כגון: מוסיקאליות, הפרדה, דינמיקה וכו'. (יש את כולם)

האמת, סדרת הדגל של החברה לא זולה בכלל ולא מתאימה לכל כיס.
אבל למי שיש מערכת מושקעת (HI-END) מאוד, הייתי ממליץ לשקול האזנה או רכישה של כבלים אלו.

גם, לחברה מבחר סדרות של כבלים.
