I am happy to report that this series will officially be continuing for another year and quite possibly beyond that. The reason is that sales have well-exceeded everyone's expectations at Blue Note and UMG. So it's wonderful, but there's a responsibility that comes with that. I know that quite a few of you are going to be very pleased by the titles I have chosen for 2020.

I'll give you guys a little teaser and tell you one title ... but that's all you get until the rest are confirmed re sources etc. Bobby Hutcherson's The Kicker has been on my radar for many moons and it has NEVER had a proper LP release. It might need to be a double LP, or possibly 3 sided since there's more material than I would put on two sides. We'll figure it out. But the music is monumental. In many ways, it is Idle Moments Part 2, since the exact same band is involved and this was recorded just weeks after Idle Moments. That's all I can reveal for now. But it is going to be a fun ride, my friends!
