This preamplifier want to become a reference for the music listening,
due to its peculiar circuitry and to the tight selection of all electronic
components. The line stage is designed around two 6J5 vacoom tubes.
The low internal resistance of such tubes allows an inductive load of
their anode plates,increasing both the dynamic range and the efficiency
with respect to the conventional resistive load.
The MM and Mc high exit phono stage incorporates , for each channel,a dual triode12AX7/ECC83 followed by a passive RIAA equalization.
The input impedance of the MM setion is 47 kohms.
The power supply includes a tube rectification (5Y3 tube) to avoid
the commutation spikes from conventional solid state diode rectifiers.
A DC stabilized voltage is used for the filaments of all vacuum tubes except for the rectifier in order to avoid the potential noise induce by an AC voltage on the corresponding cathodes.
ln addition, the inductors the channel separation.
Last but not least, all active stages are based upon a single-ended
pure class A design.
This provides excellent linearity and reduced THD , for a fully natural and pleasant sound.
Smooth,open and incredibly natural, this amplifier disappears behind the music flow on listening and it offers a tactile three-dimensional soundstage whice is closed to a "live" performance.
