על פי התשובה שקיבלת, שירות המוזיקה שהם מציעים הינו בפורמט לוסי (lossy) כגון MP3. זה בפני עצמו אומר שזה יכול להיות רק פחות טוב מתקליטור.
אבל גם לפורמט כזה יש כמה רמות דחיסה (ואיבוד אינפורמציה), נתון של 128kbs נחשב לאיכות בינונית/נמוכה, ו- 48kbs לאיכות נמוכה מאוד.
