A unique back-loaded horn loudspeakers, a servo-controlled subwoofer and Sony super audio CD SCD 777ES

In connection with moving to the United States, I am forced to sell part of my equipment.
1. CarderSound Madisons, a single driver, back loaded horn (BLH) speakers. I replaced their original drivers Fostex FE206E with much better (and expensive) Louther DX-4 ones. I would never part with them if not for my relocation. I bought them while being in the USA and remember pretty well how expensive and cumbersome their shipment was.

2. A 12’’ servo-controlled subwoofer (Rythmik Audio, USA) is a matching mate for these loudspeakers.

It has two coils in its driver. One coil is connected to the output of the power amplifier and moves the cone. The second coil serves as a sensor of the negative feedback and is connected to the input of subwoofer’s internal amplifier. This approach allows for the damping of driver ringing, makes lows tighter and reduces the ‘’booming”. I used the subwoofer for boosting the lows in the range of 20 to 40 Hz. 3. Sony SCD 777ES SACD player
This player is characterized by an extremely high-end mechanical design and even today on eBay you may find 777s players in the price range from 14,000 to 18,000 NIS.
