Hi-Fi+ magazine have just published their first review of a Leema amplifier.
High-end audio publication Hi-Fi+ have just published their very first review of a Leema amplifier. The reviewer, hi-fi industry veteran Andrew Harrision, compares the Tucana II with the original as well as his established references, reaching the conclusion that the Tucana II is a very definite step forward for Leema. Andrew sums up his review thus:
'The original Tucana was an infectiously fun amplifier that made up with rhythmic story-telling and gregarious power placement what it sometimes lacked in bass precision and super-fi treble. Tucana II is the young adulthood version of that teenage amp. It's addressed the emphasis points with stricter control on bass drivers, a more revealing and all-encompassing soundstage, and undoubtedly a more insightful top-end. While it can still boogie, its fresh, immediate tone painting makes it eminently suited to classical and jazz too. the microprocessor control doesn't seem to have tainted this richly analogue-sounding integrated amplifier at all.'המגבר הנ"ל נמצא אצלנו בתצוגה.
