מי שלא מצליח לתרגם לאנגלית, להלן:

On the occasion that I was away from the industry for a long time, Audiovalve Conductor changed hands as before. I had been searching for a preamp that gave me the character that I liked in the Audiovalve + Adcom style for a long time. Finally, Let's end up with NAT Magnetic. And I'd like to inform you here that I've been using NAT Magnetic as a reference preamp for about a year now, and it's time to write a bit about it. Because normally The sound equipment that I choose to use myself is already said to be "extraordinary" and most of the time I don't write about it.

Who is NAT ???

I will just give a little introduction. Because you can find information from the internet. This product comes from Serbia. (Where in the world? (I feel like there's a bomb nearby.) And he said he's a manufacturer of high-end audio equipment that uses tubes. Oh, looking at his profile, he says he has a lot of military grade NOS tubes in stock that he uses. His Pre/Power What I think is different and outstanding about NAT is What does it mean to have a deep understanding of engineering (tubes) and the art that makes sound (tubes)? This means that the sound of the tube is unique. Has a unique personality It's rare for a semiconductor device to sound like this. and with advanced engineering This makes it possible to create a tube amplifier at a near-ideal level that tube amplifiers from the World War II era were unable to provide. That is, they can produce a frequency response from 1.5Hz - 600kHz!!! Where the S/N value is < 112dBA (NAT Magnetostat SE) or in the Magnetic model that I will talk about, it has a frequency response from 2Hz -350kHz. Wow! The best cat bell fan

Another thing is that most of them are preamplifiers or tube power amplifiers. Very few models come with authentic balanced input/output connections. Because it's harder to do. The cost is more expensive, but NAT Magnetic is already included. The amp that will be connected must be truly balanced. Another thing that I really like about NAT's products is that I saw a big leaf bulb. As long as an odd-sized arm. (Power amplifier) that is a Single End Class A, high output power, made for sale. Of course, the sound is warm like the tube. I would probably ask for an amendment in WJ's budget for the next year. Another thing that will take a little more time to prove is that it uses a voltage that should be several hundred volts. With that level of heat, how will it affect the lifespan of the bulb?

Coming back to NAT Magnetic.

It's a preamp that has an appearance that indicates SME craftsmanship. They say it's handmade, which is probably true. It's a bit raw, like in the Russian mountains. It's encased in a thick aluminum box. Paint spraying and assembly work are at the industry standard level. It is not at the level of furniture, especially high-end audio equipment. However, the components of the body show unusual design strategies, for example the use of flexible and strong supports. Raise the unit higher than normal for heat dissipation. Cold will enter the bottom and sides of the hull. and expels heat through the lid on the machine The side panels of the hull feature two layers of aluminum panels to shield against noise and reduce vibration. The inner sheet holds the circuitry and electronic devices separate from the outer layer. Oh.. because I bought it for my own use. So I had to open the lid of the machine and take a look at the insides. The beard is very tight, sir. Two large toroidal transformers, hermetically shielded for use in independent left-right analog circuits. Another toroidal transformer is used to supply power to the digital/control section. that is not related to the analog part of the audio signal Outstanding features of NAT Magnetic include.. the output transformer section that is the path for the audio signal, there is no condenser in between or connected anywhere, making the sound fresh, fast, not sluggish. The winding wire of the Nano Crystalline transformer (uses pure silver mixed with into the copper). The power supply uses 500000 microfarad capacitors and the circuit is dual mono. (not called stereo Because the left and right are completely separated), the amplifier tube uses military grade NOS, the volume uses a Relay type, 56 sets of silver contacts, Vishay resistors, a tolerance of 0.1% in 5 millionths (PPM), and hard wire wiring. The important part is a silver-coated OFC instead of running signals on a printed sheet. The dashboard is 15 mm thick aluminum. What he emphasizes is the operation of the Pure Single Ended (RCA) or Pure Balance (XLR) circuit.

Let's look at the outside appearance. The dashboard has an antique style and is a bit tough. Can't find the delicacy The top row has blue glowing LEDs. Indicates the selected input status as a/b/c/d/e/f and lights up blue when using XLR. Next from left to right are.. On/Off/Mute button. Next is the volume control for the loudness/low level. by pressing up/down Next is the indicator light that works normally or is dimming the sound. Next are the input selection buttons by pressing up/down. The last button selects the operation associated with the RCA/XLR connection. Next to it is the status bar below. When you press the power button, it will show the status of starting to warm up the lamp until it is ready for use. When available, it will switch to showing the gain level instead. Logic is considered good. But personally I think this level of equipment Loud/Slow Adjustment It should be a rotary type rather than a push button. I believe it's just the push button and turning to trigger the relay switch to work. It would make the price significantly more expensive. And this is probably the interface that I dislike the most. And there is a remote receiver that requires aiming at the target to receive infrared. This one should be improved.

Butt for connection I almost forgot to tell you. The preamp that I use for reference In addition to supporting balanced input/output, The output section must have at least 2 sets of RCA and 2 sets of XLR for bi-amp connections. When I need or play, the Subwoofer and NAT are provided in abundance. Starting with inputs a/b/d/e/f giving both RCA and XLR inputs, input c is Tape in and Tape out giving both RCA and XLR inputs.

On the output side as well, give 2 sets of XLR and 2 sets of RCA. You can see that it indicates Reference with the bottom like this. The switch to turn on and off the power to the machine is very simple. You can call it anything that you can save on beauty. I think it's just black and forgetful. Just listen to the sound. It'll be morning soon, so say that.

Setup

Let's just say that the audio equipment goes through NAT Magnetic as an intermediary. If we're talking about the front end, it's Denon: DCD SA1, Tascam: 901 Mk2, Meridian: 818, Accuphase: DP-85, Nimitra 2, and the amps are Constellation: Centaur, Electrocompaniet: AW800M, Infinity speakers: Modulus. System, Celestion: SL700, JBL: S3500, KEF: REF 105/3, ProAc: Response 4, KEF: LS50 S1/S2, KEF: REF 103/4, ATC: SCM 50 PSLT, Energy: AE109.2 which is enough. That will indicate the identity of NAT Magnetic. You can follow the test of audio equipment that passes NAT Magnetic that can be used as a reference.

Due to the placement of the preamplifier and power amplifier being more than 4 meters apart, I used the entire set of Nordost Tyr2 XLR to connect the signal cables.

Sound characteristics

The thing that amazed me the most about using NAT Magnetic was the extremely quiet background noise. Almost equivalent to an AudioValve Conductor powered by batteries!! How can I do it?? This is pre-amplifier, hey!!! It's quieter than the balanced Mark Levinson No 38S.

The sound of this preamp reminds me of 40% Adcom GFP750, 40% Audiovalve Conductor, and 20% Mark Levinson No 38s. Are you confused??? The following will be the characters of NAT Magnetic.

It gives a midrange sound that is fresh and charming like a Class A single end with enough warmth (GFP-750 uses a Mosfet that tunes the sound out. and arranged in a Class A circuit and played through PASS Aleph. 2) It creates a very grand and expansive soundstage. The band's dimensional distribution is not clear and precise in every plane, to the point of demanding attention to the point of being alarmed. It clearly and gradually defines the depth of field of the arranged circles. Fading along the near and far distances of the plane, it blends in comfortably with the ear. The lively, flowing presentation of the Audiovalve has the dynamics, power, control and precision of the Mark Levinson No 38s in the proportions I described. Characteristics that are weak points of the tube, such as inaccurate speed The storage characteristics of the bass that give it weight. But lack of good enough control clear cleanliness But not to the point of being invisible. Resolution and spread in high frequencies that roll off too quickly was completely eliminated And adding to the sound properties that are the strong points of the tubes, that is, the midrange sound is charming and inviting to listen to, full of texture, just enough to be beautiful, not bloated, fresh, bright, sweet, and has a smooth, pleasing style that I don't know what to criticize from it. At this price level, of course, there are divine preamps that have passed through our hands, such as the Vitus SL, Ayre KX-R, or Constellation Altair, that may be better in some aspects. But it didn't give me a "charit" that matched me or a sound that was far apart and lacking in parts. Especially when comparing value for money with better sound.

Important features that a top-quality preamp should provide are band proportionality and loudness scaling. The proportions must be scaled and expanded without distortion. Of course, NAT Magnetic passes this test easily. Of course, if you overlook the Craftmanship that goes out in a raw, barbaric way, the sound of NAT Magnetic is clearly Reference Class. Another thing that can be made even more amazing that I can think of is Resolution or the details in the texture. The sound is already very good. You may have to go all the way to NAT Magnetostat Se or another brand. "Add more" not less than 7 digits. At this point, I have to give in. Oh.. I'm not a Tube Mania myself. Maybe changing to a higher grade tube might give wings to the NAT Magnetic and attach it to the Magnetostat. But I probably won't be able to get to Se. That one, Wiring in the important point uses pure money. Including the wire wrapped around the transformer. Eek!!

summarize

Going back to the statement above. “When do you think The sound system you are listening to now sounds very good. But you want to go one step further. Upgrade the preamp.” At this point, I would like you to read this article to try looking for a NAT Magnetic to connect to instead of the preamp you are using. Don't get caught up in the idea or the illusion that It may seem like the “black sheep” of your system, but listen to its extremely natural “music.” stillness Clarity that doesn't overwhelm the presentation The rhythm is precise in its unstressed rhythmic nature. Large image and sound stage Continuous flow of presentation fresh singing voice and still gentle and gentle to the ear Bass that gives the note its identity, depth, and conciseness, without presenting an overly large scale. The detailed, high-impact, and atomizing tip disappears into thin air when played back with the beryllium tweeter. (Incidentally, my Diamond Dome 800D has passed through my hands a long time ago.) As for the Response 4, it will be found that the display of power in this aspect is not very outstanding. But it is far higher than the standard. and you will be surprised that Serbia Is this what makes a tube sound system so "good"? The NAT Magnetic will probably be my Reference Preamplifier for a long time from now. Highly recommended!!!
