We are very excited to unveil Krystian Zimerman’s first solo album for DG for over twenty-five years, which unlocks the drama and intensity of Schubert’s late piano sonatas. Scheduled for release on 8 September, it contains revelatory readings of the Piano Sonata No. 20 in A major D959 and Piano Sonata No. 21 in B flat major D960, Schubert’s last major compositions for the piano before his death.
