Excellent power amplifier as you would expect from a company such as Linn. Almost the equivalent of two LK 240's in one box sharing a power supply. Dual mono amplifiers putting out 200 watts each into 4 ohms or 100 watts each into 8 ohms. Not only does this amp sound superb but it looks great too. Power switch is on the back and the unit will automatically go into standby until it senses a signal and then switches itself on indicated by an led on the facia which is red when in standby, turning green when it switches on. I bought it to compliment my VTL tube preamp and the pre/power combo produces a fantastic sound with absolutely no listening fatigue, you just want to keep on listening and listening. This can also be set up to use in aktiv configuration by adding internal crossovers should you be using Linn speakers. I believe this to be a bit of an unknown gem, being that it is in the Linn AV range though I suspect that it will gain in popularity once the "HiFi" community get to hear about it. These are very difficult to find on the pre owned market and I can understand why, they are so good nobody wants to get rid of them.
